This statement explains how we work to keep akramhanna.com and the Chicago atelier usable for every client, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.
Our commitment
Akram Hanna Custom Fitting is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and review the site as it changes.
What we have built in
Every page uses a single clear heading structure, descriptive text alternatives for images, labelled form fields, visible keyboard focus indicators, a skip-to-content link, text contrast that meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 ratio, body text no smaller than the readable minimum, and full support for the reduce-motion preference. The site is navigable end to end by keyboard alone.
Visiting the atelier
The atelier is on Level 6 at 900 North Michigan Shops, reached by elevator from the ground floor. The building provides accessible entrances and restrooms. If you need step-free routing, extra time, a companion present, or any other accommodation for your fitting, tell us when you book and we will arrange it.
Alternatives to this website
Any request you can make online can also be handled by telephone. Call (312) 300-7452 during business hours and the atelier will take your details, answer questions, and arrange an appointment directly.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site or a visit to the atelier is difficult to use, we want to correct it. Call (312) 300-7452 or email atelier@akramhanna.com with the page or situation involved. We aim to respond during business hours and will provide the information you needed in another format while any fix is made.
